What else could be wrong with my games?

Right off the top of my head, I know of two things you could do that might help. First, go to Microsoft.com and get the latest version of DirectX. Two, try running the game in XP compatibility Mode. Right click on the game's icon and select Properties. Then click the Compatibility Tab and select Run In Windows XP mode.
