DD2 level 40
When the game starts go to the podium to make people happy while we wait for customers. We all know how the podium works, click on it, wait for the heart to grow, then the heart "pops", it makes a noise and people are happy. But then you have to wait a bit before you use it again. Well I learned from someone that if right after you hear the noise and people get happy, you can click on the red heart again before it disapears and it will start the podium again, you won't have to wait for it. So just keep doing it until your ready to seat people. Try to seat 4-6 tables at a time and old men and bookworms should be served last, I leave them until the end of the shift. Try to seat the phone yappers in the bar seats so they dont bother others. If you have to put them at a table keep them on corner or outside tables and use families and joggers to separate them from others. Continued...

Re: DD2 level 40
Continued: Try to seat 5-6 tables at a time and as before old men and bookworms last. When the game starts go to the podium and wait. You'll get 3 women, 6 girls, a family, 4 bookworms, 2 old men, 3 joggers, 2 phone yappers, and 6 women. Start seating when the 6 women come. Seat 5 tables, put the family in the table for 4 by the counter, put the 3 joggers at the bar in the first 3 seats by the desert, put the 6 women at the table for 6, put the 3 women at the table for 4 by the phone and put the 2 yappers next to the joggers. Give drinks to one table and it should be to yappers or women as they give better tips, unless of course another table needs them. Take all the orders. Wait for all the menus to go down before taking the orders in case someone asks for snacks, you don't want to break your chain. bring the orders to the cook and then go to the podium to make people happy. Continued: Pass out the food and give drinks to one table, wait a few seconds for a spill, mop it up and give deserts. Give all the checks and go back to the podium to make then happy (pop the heart a few times to fill the heart meters) then clear the dishes. Next seat 6 girls at the table for 6, 1 girl at the table for 4 by the phone, 2 women at the table for 2, and 2 groups of 4 yappers at the bar, the group with 2 blue yappers i put next to the deserts. Do the whole routine again. Then for the next round I sat 6 tables. I put the family with green and blue people at the table for 4 by the counter, i put 6 girls at the table for 6, i put the other family at the table for 4 by the phone, i put 2 blue joggers in the 2 blue seats at the bar, i put 2 girls in the first 2 bars seats by the desert and i put 2 women at the bar, right next to the joggers. Do the routine again and then all you should have left is old men and bookworms. Continued...

Continued: Use the color bonuses as best as you can and remember you can give drinks after taking orders also right before and right after you give the food. Yappers and women give better tips so keep them happy before others. Once you given the checks and are at the podium, use this time to decide who you are going to sit where. You can take all the time you need, just keep popping the heart, there is no one seated to get upset. It may take a few times to get it, it took me a few, let me know if you still need help. Good luck! Jen

Re: DD2 level 40
Chaining is repeating the same action over and over. For example, I will seat 4 tables and then take all 4 orders at once, that's chaining the orders. If I took 2 orders, then stopped to give drinks and then took the other 2 orders, I would have broken the chain and not recieved as many points. You can chain just about everything, passing out food, giving the checks, clearing the dishes, etc... Jen

If I could play it for you, I would. Maybe I can work out something else for you. Where do your problems start? Like which round and with which customers, or anything else you think is a problem. Jen

Thanks! Your tips helped me out. I had bought DD2 back with my old computer but it wasn't compatible. Rebought direct from Playfirst today and have played through. Now that I'm past level 40 the Mr. Big is even more annoying!!!

Your welcome Ladies, glad I could help. I know Mr Big is a pest but I learned to like him cuz he lets you carry 4 things. I would rather have 2 more arms though like in DD1. Good luck!! Jen

Princessb, Thanks and I'm glad you found them useful. I know, tragic that the podium only works like that in DD2. For myself though, I at least found the podium in DD3 to be faster than the one in DD1. Jen
