Is anyone else having problems with the game moving slowly?

Yes, I had this problem with lag in DD Seasonal Snack Pack too. This could be because it's still relatively new and the kinks might need working out. To fix the problem, however, I totally uninstalled the game, re-downloaded it and then played again.
If you're on a PC, go to your Start menu and click add/remove programs, find the game and delete it.
If you're on a Mac (as I am), make sure that you go right into the Applications folder in your Finder and delete it from there.
